Icewind opened her eyes. She looked around her den and sighed. She has had a wonderful dream and now she was alone again.
The ginger she-cat´s blue gaze rested on the entrance for a moment and then wandered around again.
She saw the general stores of supplies and smelled the herbs.
"Back to sleep", she grunted and suddenly felt old.
A steady cold wind blew from outside to her nest.
Icewind felt lonely. Nobody was here but her. There was so much space.
"Maybe I should take over an apprentice", she muttered and stood up.
Then she went outside.
