The code. Still here, although very different, which is to be expected look at the new world in which they live. Survival is everything and this new code ensures it.

defend your clan, even with your life. you may not have friendships with cats from other clans.
do not hunt or trespass on another clan's territory.
queens and kits must be feed before apprentices and warriors.
prey is killed only to be eaten.
a kit must be at least five moons old to become an apprentice.
a cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
the clan leader will decide who becomes leader after he/she retires/dies
after death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
a gathering of all four clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among clans at this time.
boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
the word of the clan leader is the warrior code.
a warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
any kits born with defects are to be taken to a secluded spot to die. the parents of the kits are chased away as well, so that they cannot pollute the clans with their bloodlines. |
